The Alfa Romeo Tonale celebrates its second model year for 2024. It marks the Italian automaker’s first plug-in hybrid (PHEV) model as the brand begins its path toward full electrification. 2024 Alfa Romeo Tonale shoppers can choose between three models of the brand’s new C-SUV. The Sprint starts at $42,995, the mid-range Ti carries an MSRP of $44,995, and the range-topping Veloce is priced at $47,495.

All models are powered by a 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a 90-kilowatt electric motor that combine to produce a total of 285 horsepower and 347 pound-feet of torque. The hybrid engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, and the Tonale is offered exclusively with all-wheel drive. Alfa Romeo claims a driving range of about 30 miles on electric power alone.
