This is the third death in less than a month at the same high-risk intersection, with Benjamin’s devastated family now demanding that a traffic signal be installed there.

Benjamin’s mother, Sarah Touchette, rushed to help as soon as she realized what had happened.

“I just kept breathing and begging him to stay,” she recalled crying.

Benjamin’s family are now campaigning for a traffic stop to prevent further accidents at the dangerous intersection.

It is located on a curve off a busy road, where drivers fail to slow down as they exit the road onto it.

“You can look at the video and tell me he never saw it,” said Nancy Suffield, Benjamin’s grandmother. “He didn’t even know he hit someone until it was too late.”

Sad Savannah said:

“I was right there next to the road, so I ran into the road, screamed his name, and pulled him away from behind the truck so she wouldn’t run him over again,” said a sad Savannah.

“I can’t bring my grandson back,” Suffield said.

“That’s why we’re asking someone to reach out and get this done, and help us get this done, please.”

The family said speeding traffic is a constant problem on the road outside their home, where the speed limit is 50 mph.

Less than a month before the accident that killed Benjamin, two people were also killed in a motorcycle accident at the intersection.

Touchette, who was home at the time, said she rushed to help.
