Jamaica, Queens (November 19, 2023) – A pedestrian was seriously injured in a Jamaica and Queens cement truck accident at the intersection of Highland Avenue and Parsons Boulevard.

New York City Police officials say the collision happened around 11:45 a.m. Friday. An unidentified man was crossing the street when he was hit by a cement truck.

Paramedics were called to the scene to provide assistance to the victim. He was taken to a local hospital to receive the car.

The cement truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police. The full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
