Inspired by the vision of Heughan and McTavish and their co-authored book, Clanlands: Whiskey, Warfare, and a Scottish Adventure Like No Other, the inaugural season embarks on an epic journey through the magnificent landscapes of their native Scotland. This expedition leads them past famous historical monuments and cultural treasures, many of which, including the famous Culloden Battlefield site, hold a special place in the hearts of Outlander fans. Traveling in a pickup truck, the couple deliberately stops at designated spots, indulges in regional whiskey tastings and indulges in Alba’s national sports.
