The fifth generation of the all-new Toyota Prius is built on the TNGA platform, there are 3 types of power plants to choose from:
- 1.8 hybrid with 140 hp
- 2.0 Dynamic Hybrid engine with 193 hp
- 2.0 Dynamic Hybrid engine with 223 hp
1.8 Hybrid (Japanese version)
2ZR-FXE 4-cylinder gasoline engine, volume 1.8 liters, 1797 cc, maximum power 98 hp at 5200 rpm, maximum torque 142 Nm at 3600 rpm.
Powered by a 1VM electric motor with a power of 95 hp, maximum torque of 185 Nm / 4-wheel drive model, a 1WM rear motor adds a power of 41 hp and 84 Nm.
When the engine is powered by an electric motor, the total power is 140 hp, paired with an E-CVT automatic transmission, front-wheel drive / AWD, with an average consumption rate of 32.6 km/l.
2.0 Hybrid Dynamic Force (Japanese version)
M20A-FXS 4-cylinder gasoline engine, Dynamic Force, volume 2.0 liters, 1986 cc, maximum power 152 hp at 6000 rpm, maximum torque 188 Nm at 4400 – 5200 rpm.
Powered by a 1VM electric motor with a power of 113 hp, maximum torque of 206 Nm / 4-wheel drive model, a 1WM rear motor adds a power of 41 hp and 84 Nm.
When the engine is powered by an electric motor, the total power is 194 horsepower, paired with an E-CVT automatic transmission, front-wheel drive/AWD, with an average consumption rate of 28.6 km/l.
2.0 Dynamic Plug-in Hybrid Force (Japanese version)
M20A-FXS 4-cylinder gasoline engine, Dynamic Force, volume 2.0 liters, 1986 cc, maximum power 152 hp at 6000 rpm, maximum torque 188 Nm at 4400 – 5200 rpm.
Powered by a 1VM electric motor, power 163 hp, maximum torque 208 Nm.
When the engine is powered by an electric motor, the total power reaches 223 horsepower, and is coupled to an E-CVT automatic transmission to drive the front wheels. Complete with an additional charging system and power supply system for electrical appliances. The 1500W V2L comes with E-FOUR all-wheel drive, with an average consumption of 26.0 km/L *Not including pure electric operation in EV mode.
