Keep things together in your Cummins, Duramax or Powerstroke diesel with Gator Fasteners head bolts, main cap bolts and rod bolts. Made from 8740 chrome steel, the fasteners are heat treated before threading. This provides optimal fatigue strength. Fasteners are also eccentric ground to ensure dimensional accuracy and a secure fit.
Heavy duty head bolt kits
Gator Fasteners head bolts are designed for stock to medium-build engines, and are rated for 220,000 psi of tensile strength so they won’t expand like factory head bolts. This means that the bolts can provide the clamping force needed to prevent the cylinder heads from lifting due to high combustion pressures. 12-point chrome-plated steel nuts, parallel ground washers, and assembly lubricant are included.

Master bolt kit
Rated at 190,000 psi of tensile strength, the Gator Fasteners Main Fastener Kit can handle excess loads resulting from high-performance upgrades, preventing main caps from walking. This movement allows the caps to actually elongate and change their dimensions. This distorts the main bearing oil clearance to the point where the crank can flex enough to cause the bearings to fail. Chromoly steel nuts, parallel ground washers, and assembly oil are included.

Heavy Duty Rod Bolt Kit for GM 6.6L Duramax
The rod bolts on your Duramax diesel are subject to some horrendous stresses. As the crankshaft rotates, the large ends of the connecting rods become elliptical and rotate again, forcing the bolts to bend and expand. This alternation between tension loading and cyclic bending increases with increasing cylinder pressure. At some point, the pressure becomes too great and the factory rod bolts simply break.
The Gator Fasteners heavy duty bar bolt set can handle the pressure. The screws are rated for 200,000 psi of tensile strength to resist expansion and have a 12-point thread head. Kit fits 2001-10 6.6L Duramax engines.
Modified Rocker Arm Bases for Dodge 5.9L Cummins 12 Valve
The rocker arm bases on 12-valve Cummins must be modified for use with the head bolts. You can get a machine shop to do the job, or you can save yourself some trouble and get modified rocker arm bases from Gator Fasteners. They are brand new parts, not rebadged factory cores, and are ready to use with Gator or ARP head bolts.
