German Motorhome Manufacturer Unveils Campervan Concept – Motorhome News – Motorhomes & Campervans

German caravan and van manufacturer Bürstner has unveiled its prototype of the Habiton mini campervan, which is based on the Renault Kangoo and features a modular concept.

As with previous Bürstner models, the Habiton follows the “travel small, live big” principle and features an inflatable roof tent fully integrated into the vehicle.

Borstner says using the modular concept means it’s easy to switch from everyday life to camping, and vice versa. These include, for example, a removable kitchen unit including induction hob and sink, an inflatable mattress for use inside the car (in addition to the roof bed) and an electric cooler box.

The Lounge Tent has blackout elements attached with fasteners that can be used as bags during the day, vents with fly screens, dimmable LED spots, hanging baskets and an extra battery.

says Jens Krömer, Chairman of the Board of Management of Bürstner

The concept van, the Habiton, is a prime example of a stylish new type of camper that suits the everyday urban life of our style-conscious target group, while at the same time catering to the strong trend towards flexibility and freedom.
