Mercedes has debuted the all-electric EQE SUV with a range of 550 km in India
German luxury and commercial vehicle company Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its EQE 500 4MATIC SUV in India. After the EQB and EQS, the EQE is Mercedes-Benz’s third electric car in India.
The Mercedes-Benz EQE series was launched in the United States last year. Now in India, they have only launched the higher-spec version of that series, which has mostly the same features and specifications.
The EQE 500 4MATIC uses an all-new electric platform. It is combined with dual motors – permanently operated front and rear axle synchronous motors with a total output of 300 kW, a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 90.6 kWh and a range of up to 550 kilometers (341 miles).
The engines produce 408 hp and 858 Nm, allowing it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) in 4.9 seconds, and the EQE 500 4MATIC has a top speed of 210 km/h (130 mph). ). The SUV also features OFFROAD off-road driving programme.
The SUV comes with an 11kW AC charger and can support up to 170kW of DC fast charging. In some cases, innovative internally developed battery management software allows for over-the-air (OTA) updates.
The Mercedes-Benz EQE 500 4MATIC is 191.5 inches long, 84.3 inches wide with mirrors, 66.3 inches high, and weighs approximately 5,665 pounds (2,569 kg). Allowable trailer payload for 4MATIC models with all-wheel drive is 3,500 lb (1,587 kg).
The EQE SUV comes with 20-inch wheels and an air suspension that can raise the SUV’s height by one inch.
In addition, the EQE SUV includes Active Brake Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist and Parking Package with Surround View. The Assistant display in the driver display displays system status and activity in full screen mode.
Other notable equipment includes the Energizing Air Control Plus system and a high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter that cleans incoming air with the highest filtration level. Energizing Comfort technology integrates the various comfort systems in the car. Increases physical comfort and efficiency while driving and during rest periods.
The vehicle’s interior is also integrated with Dolby Atmos technology, part of the standard 15-speaker Burmester 3D sound system, which takes the EQE SUV’s audio experience to a new level. In addition, the interior of the SUV features a head-up display, MBUX HD display and ambient lighting.
Furthermore, the EQE SUV includes dedicated digital light animation, part of the digital lighting system. In addition to Digital Rain and Brand World, customers can choose the following hello and farewell animations.
In addition, Mercedes will offer the EQE 500 4matic SUV with a 10-year battery warranty. The Mercedes-Benz EQE 500 4matic SUV is priced at Rs 1.39 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
