Top of the album
The accolades continue with his Top Country albumOne thing at a time, which dropped last March and sent fans into a frenzy as they flocked to the massive 36-track collection. His third studio album spent 16 non-consecutive weeks at number one on the weekly Billboard 200 chart before earning a year-end number one spot on the Billboard 200 Albums recap chart.
Along with the success of the album as a whole, it also spawned the chart-topping single “Last Night,” which is currently topping the Hot 100 Songs of 2023 summary. This has turned out to be a huge accomplishment for Wallen as he is the first solo man to top the weekly Hot Country Songs chart since 1959 .
Billboard also reported that the feat marks “the first time the same artist has topped the year-end Billboard 200 and Hot 100 charts since Adele in 2011 (with 21 and “rolling in depth” respectively).
One thing at a time Wallen’s success followed in equal measure Dangerous: The Double Album, which topped the chart in 2021 and previously held the title of year-end Billboard 200 albums champion. This year, that album lands at No. 5 after coming in at No. 3 in 2022.
