¯ R. Duane Ellis, 60, 12810 State Route 339, Vincent, driving a 2011 Dodge Ram pickup with a trailer was traveling north on County Road 6 in Waterford Township on Sept. 12 when he went off the right side of the road and rolled down an embankment. No suspected injuries were reported and he was charged with driving without reasonable control.
¯ Raul E. was Davila Diaz, 27, of 158 Seneca Trail, Erlanger, Ky., driving a 2019 Chevy Colorado pickup was traveling south on Interstate 77 in Jefferson Township on Sept. 2 when he veered off the left side of the road into the grass median. , overcorrected, slid back onto the road and overturned. Diaz was suspected of having minor injuries but was not transported and charged with driving a vehicle without being under reasonable control.
¯ A 17-year-old Lowell resident was northbound on Township Road 32 in Muskingum Township on Sept. 3 when his 2007 Jeep Liberty ran off the right side of the road and struck a utility box. No suspected injuries were reported and he was charged with driving without reasonable control.
¯ Jason R. Husum, 44, 132 Riverview Drive, Marietta, driving a 2014 Nissan Titan pickup was eastbound on Township Road 346 in Reno on Sept. 9 and Joanna R. Whitehair, 54, 205 Covington Way, Vienna, driving a Kia Optima. 2015. He was traveling westbound on Township Road 346 when they both failed to make the left half of the road and collided with each other at the top of the hill. Whitehair spun and came to rest blocking lanes on Township Road 346. Whitehair was suspected of having minor injuries but was not transported and Husum had possible injuries and was transported to Marietta Memorial Hospital by EMS. No charges were filed.
¯ Bjorn A. Martinsen, 26, 18 Painters Crossing, Williamstown, driving a 2020 Volkswagen Golf GTI owned by Cynthia D. Brock of 18 Painters Crossing, Williamstown, was traveling northbound on Ohio 26 in Marietta on Sept. 4 when he failed to negotiate a swerve. Off the left side of the road and collided with the fence. No suspected injuries were reported and he was charged with driving without reasonable control.
¯ Michael D. Tullius, 57, of 113 Hope Road, Beverly, was driving a tractor pulling a large piece of farm equipment southbound on Township Road 117 in Waterford Township on Sept. 1 when Lewis White, 19, of 2535 Garfield Boulevard, was driving a car that A 2020 Nissan Kicks owned by Janayda A. Gerena of 2506 East 35th Street, Lorain, was traveling north on Township Road 117, moved to the right of way, and stopped. Tullius veered off the right side of the road and the farm equipment struck White as it passed. No suspected injuries were reported and no charges were listed.
¯ David M. Fleming, 62, 815 Walnut St., Caldwell, was driving northbound on Ohio 339 in Watertown Township on Sept. 7 when Robert W. Wu, 59, 3225 Madison St., Stockport, was driving a Dodge Caravan minivan. A 2011 model owned by Donna Dixon of 3225 Madison Avenue, Stockport, was traveling northbound on Ohio 339 behind Fleming when it struck Fleming and pushed him sideways into the southbound lane. Fleming suffered possible injuries but was treated at the scene by Waterford-Beverly EMS. Waugh was accused of failing to maintain a guaranteed clear distance. The patrol report indicated that there was a distraction outside the vehicle.
¯ Joel D. was Caplinger, 31, 3515 Burnett Road, Cutler, was driving a 2005 Pontiac Grand Am westbound on Ohio 550 when Caplinger swerved to miss a deer, ran off the right side of the road, struck an embankment, and overturned. Minor injuries were suspected, but Kapliner was not transported. Caplinger was charged with operating a vehicle without reasonable control.
