Ram and Jeep® take top honors at the 2023 Texas Truck Rodeo

Ram and Jeep® received several prestigious awards at the prestigious Texas Truck Rodeo, hosted by the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA). Stellantis brands came out on top, taking home an impressive nine awards, the highest number among all manufacturers at the event.

Ram, in particular, has demonstrated its dominance by claiming several consecutive awards, most notably the Texas Full-Size Pickup Truck title. Not only did the Ram 1500 (DT) receive this award for the sixth year in a row, but it also received the Texas Premium Pickup Truck Award for the eighth year in a row. Remarkably, the Ram 1500’s appeal was further underscored by it topping the scorers for highest personal attractiveness, a major accomplishment in the heart of the nation’s truck capital.

Continuing its dominance in the heavy-duty category, the 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel (DJ) strengthened Ram’s supremacy for the seventh year in a row by winning the heavy-duty truck title in Texas.

Jeep vehicles also made a resounding impact, with the Jeep Grand Cherokee (WL) winning Texas Midsize SUV for the fifth time, demonstrating its supremacy in the highly competitive midsize class. Meanwhile, Jeep Wrangler secured its position as perennial champion by winning the off-road SUV category for the ninth time. The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 (JL) has added to the brand’s success by topping the best performance charts.
