Police identified the drivers as Alexander L. Drew, 18, of Chrisgeville, who was driving a 2008 Subaru Outback, and Jimmy L. Klingle, 33, of Chrisgeville, who was the driver of a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500.
Police said Drew was cited for entering the road without a permit.
• Sherry L. Kuehner, 51, of Kunkletown, was cited after a 2:40 p.m. Sept. 4 crash on Pohupuku Road in Towamensing Township.
She was driving a 2016 Jeep Patriot eastbound when she collided with the rear of a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox operated by Bridget M. Wallace, 38, also of Kunkletown, police said. No one was injured in the accident.
Police said that both cars sustained minor damage.
• State Police at Lehighton Barracks said two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 10:09 a.m. Sept. 5 at the intersection of Mahoning Mountain and Troxel roads in East Pennsylvania Township.
Police said the injured were Barbara A. Parsons, 77, of Palmerton, a passenger in one of the vehicles, and Amber N. Semel, 32, of Lehighton. Police said the severity of their injuries was unknown.
Parsons was transported by personnel from West End Ambulance Service to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Carbon Campus, Mahoning Township. Semel was not transferred.
Parsons, who was driving a 2012 Cadillac, stopped at a stop sign facing west on Mount Mahoning Road and tried to slowly approach the intersection with Troxel Road to see if there was any oncoming traffic, police said.
Police said a high cornfield on the south side of Mahoning Mountain Road obstructed Parsons’ view and she entered the intersection in front of a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Semel, causing the crash.
Parsons was cited in the incident.
• Richard C. Fatzinger, 63, of Saylorsburg, was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 6:09 p.m. Sept. 6 at the intersection of Route 115 and Mountain Road.
Members of the Wind Gap Ambulance Corps transported him to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono, east of Stroudsburg, to be evaluated for suspected minor injuries, police said.
Police said the crash occurred when Allen E. Orlik, 37, of Kunkletown, driving a 2015 Subaru Legacy, was traveling northbound on Route 115 when he attempted to turn left onto Mountain Road.
He was temporarily blinded by the glare of the sun and his vehicle collided with a 2018 Jeep Wrangler driven by Fatzinger, who was heading south at the time, police said.
Police said that both cars were towed from the scene.
Police said Orlik was not injured.
• Josiah J. Pearson, 31, of Nazareth, escaped with injuries in a single-vehicle crash at 1:33 a.m. Sept. 8 on Mauch Chunk Road (Route 209) in Mahoning Township.
Police said he was driving a 2015 Kia Sorento when a deer entered the road, causing the car to leave the road and collide with a rock embankment on the right side of the road.
