Cybertruck – the best off-road truck compared to gas trucks
The Tesla Cybertruck is an amazing off-roader and a great apocalypse vehicle, according to Joe Rogan.
Joe Rogan asked Elon Musk about raising the ride height and asked about them being a drive train and axles. Elon Musk said that in fuel trucks there is a diff that hangs down from the bottom, and if you drive over a rock, that diff will break.
Elon goes on to say that the bottom of the Cybertruck is completely flat and has the best clear height of any vehicle.

One of the things I love about electric cars is that they don’t have a complicated motor, and they have a flat bottom of the car that doesn’t have any pieces of equipment that could be damaged by rocks and debris underneath.
In fact, the bottom of the Tesla is what houses the battery that sits on top of it, giving it a very strong center of gravity.
The only thing any electric truck is a negative is its overall weight due to the battery pack underneath. But I think that’s not a big enough deal to make it worse off road. Plus, the battery at the bottom gives it a massive center of gravity.

What about a Rivian truck?
I found a photo of a Rivian truck doing some off-roading in order to compare it to the Cybertruck. Both cars have much better ground clearance than their gas counterparts.
You can take a look at the two pictures and judge for yourself which car you think has higher ground clearance. If you believe Elon Musk, so does the Tesla Cybertruck.
Any well-made electric pickup truck will have better ground clearance than a gas truck. Furthermore, I think the Cybertruck is the best option, and I look forward to seeing it in action soon when delivery happens on November 30th.
Tesla has likely done a lot of off-road testing with the Cybertruck. Tesla is known for taking its vehicles and testing them in a variety of extreme conditions to ensure they perform well.
That’s the ruling here. The Tesla Cybertruck is the best off-road vehicle of any gas truck due to its higher ground clearance. When compared to Rivian, you’ll have to judge for yourself.
