As expected, the cabin design is somewhat similar to Citroen’s other made-in-India offerings, the C3 and C3 Aircross.

Last year, spy photos of Citroen’s upcoming crossover sedan, the C3X, surfaced online, giving a glimpse of its exterior design. It is based on a similar platform like the C3 and C3 Aircross, and the French automaker has also confirmed that it will be launched in the Indian market. While we had images of the exterior earlier, this time a spy photo has shown the interior of the C3X. take a look.

From the picture, it is clear that the interior of the C3X is very similar to that found in the C3 hatchback and C3 Aircross SUV. The car features the same floating infotainment system in the center of the dashboard and a similar three-spoke steering wheel as seen on the above models. However, it has an all-black dashboard that sets it apart from its other C3 siblings.

The C3X will likely be equipped with a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch all-digital driver display, steering wheel-mounted manual audio controls, power-adjustable ORVMs, and a multi-sound system. Speakers, washer and rear wiper. On the safety front, it is expected to have dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, hill start assist, and a reversing camera.

The C3X is expected to feature the same 110PS/190Nm 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine from the C3 and C3 Aircross, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. We also expect Citroen to offer it a 6-speed automatic transmission, which is currently available with the global C3 and C3 Aircross models.

It is expected to be launched on our shores in the first quarter of 2024 at a starting price of around Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom). The C3X will compete with the upcoming Tata Curvv while also serving as an alternative to cars like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus, and Skoda Slavia.
