It’s not often that one’s mind turns to Slovenia when it comes to the topic of supercars, but Aliusa Tošek aims to change that perception. The former race car driver is currently building a duo of electrified supercars that he firmly believes will leave a big mark on the sector.

His company, Tushek, has just unveiled the Aeon, a new purpose-built high-performance car that they claim will not only rival, but “dominate” the supercar market. It’s available with two powertrain options, both of which offer impressive power-to-weight ratios.

The Aeon E represents the all-electric model, with an impressive power output of more than 2,500 hp (1,864 kW/2,535 hp). Furthermore, the vehicle weighs 3,527 lbs (1,600 kg), resulting in an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 1.7:1.

Meanwhile, the Aeon H combines a V8 engine with an electric motor to create a hybrid powertrain. It makes nearly 600 hp less, but will still give drivers an impressive 1,930 hp (1,439 kW/1,957 hp). However, it weighs just 3,263 pounds (1,480 kg), meaning the power-to-weight ratio is better than the all-electric model’s 1.3:1.

Other performance factors, such as the Aeon’s “leading aerodynamics”, its performance specifications, and more will be revealed over the coming weeks. Inside, Tuşek says the model will focus on creating a personalized experience for each buyer.

“The Aeon heralds a new dawn in supercar production, with customization at the forefront. Each vehicle is individually designed for its owner to create an unparalleled bond,” said Tosek. “Our launch concept allows customers to completely customize the vehicle’s interior. This is what sets us apart from other suppliers around the world and ensures that every vehicle is truly unique.

It’s not the company’s first attempt at creating a supercar, having previously manufactured and sold the 937 hp (698 kW/950 hp) TS 900, which can reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.7 seconds. No doubt it hopes its latest model will be faster.

A limited edition model, Tushek plans to reveal the Aeon’s production schedule at a later date.
