A new Toyota Camry 2025 for a new era

While the current 2024 Toyota Camry plays it safe, this new offering makes some pretty big changes, especially to the front end. The Toyota Camry TRD’s muscular front bumper with side intakes appears to be the basis for the lower section, while the pointed nose is an exaggerated version of the V-shaped grille ornament found on all Camrys.

New LED daytime running lights sit above the main headlights, which resemble the units found on the Toyota Supra, and to a lesser extent the crown. The continuous, uninterrupted nose edge that runs the width of the front is reminiscent of the Crown and other cars like the latest Prius.

There’s more inspiration from the crown too, as there are also similar black moldings below the sills.

From the side, the 2025 Toyota Camry’s curvaceous profile makes it look like a sports sedan at first, with a higher hip line at the rear C-pillar. The two-tone color scheme also returns with the black roof, which works well. Unlike the TRD, there’s no spoiler, although the edge of the trunk ends in a duck-tail-like shape.

The artist chose to update the bumper, lose the exhaust tips and create new air ducts inspired by the fake ducts on this generation Camry. The wheels were also copied from the current Camry.

The 2024 Camry’s top powertrain is the 301-hp 3.5-liter V6, available on the TRD sport sedan and other premium XLE/XSE V6 models. For the 2025 Camry, Toyota Crown’s 2.4-liter turbocharged Hybrid MAX powertrain will deliver up to 340 hp and 400 lb-ft, which can be used in the next TRD variant.
