September 15, 2023

12:44 a.m. Impaired driver

While on patrol, a deputy checked a vehicle parked in the middle of the ramp leading to the US 33 rest area. After further investigation, Annalisa D. was arrested. Garner, 41, of Marysville, for driving under the influence. She was transported to the Sheriff’s Office and Report No. 23-0799 was filed.

1:08 a.m., property collapse

A deputy investigated a property damage crash that occurred in the 24000 block of Honda Parkway involving a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 that collided with an unknown vehicle. No report was taken.

4:36 a.m. Arrest warrant

A deputy met with a Marysville Police officer to take custody of Gloria V. Combs, 25, of North Lewisburg, for an outstanding warrant. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

8:19 a.m. Arrest warrant

A deputy arrested John P. Ritchie, age 39, of Bellefontaine, on an outstanding warrant at the Sheriff’s Office. He was transferred to Union County Common Pleas Court.

1:43 PM Property crash

A deputy was dispatched to the 8000 block of Waterford Way to investigate a property collision involving a 2022 Ford Transit van that collided with a 2002 Toyota Tacoma. A crash report was taken, No. 80-23-377.

5:42 p.m. property crash

A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 7000 block of State Route 161 to investigate a property collision involving a 2017 Honda Civic that had collided with a 2019 Nissan Rogue. No report was taken.

10:39 PM Unruly Juveniles

A deputy was dispatched to a residence located in the 10000 block of Elderberry Drive to investigate criminal mischief involving several unruly juveniles. Report No. 23-0801 was taken.

September 16, 2023

2:24 a.m. Arrest warrant

A deputy met with a Bexley police officer to take Kangol K into custody. Odo, 52, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

8:30 am Mental health

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on May Street in Magnetic Springs of a person experiencing a mental health crisis. No report was taken.

10:45 AM Dispute

A deputy met with a resident from the 10000 block of Hazelnut Drive to investigate a neighbor dispute. No report was taken.

10:58 a.m.: Property damage crash

A deputy responded to State Route 31, north of Richwood Miller Road, to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2007 Honda Civic that had struck a deer. Crash Report No. 80-23-378 taken.

3:38 p.m. collision

Deputies and units from the Allen Township Fire Department responded to a property in the 22000 block of Buck Run Road for a crash involving an off-road motorcycle. One victim was taken to Memorial Hospital, but no reports were taken.

September 17, 2023

2:20 a.m. local

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 9000 block of Dewitt Drive to investigate a domestic dispute between a man and two women. Report No. 23-0803 was taken.

2:25 a.m. local

A deputy and units from the Marysville Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 17000 block of Banjo Road to investigate a domestic dispute between a male and female. No report was taken.

9:22 AM Mental health

Deputies and units from the Northwest Fire District were dispatched to a residence on May Street in Magnetic Springs of a person experiencing a mental health crisis. No report was taken.

9:50 a.m., property collapse

A deputy responded to the 17000 block of Cradler-Turner Road to investigate a property collision involving a 2020 Subaru Forester that ran off the road and struck a rock. Crash Report No. 80-23-379 taken.

10:59 a.m. Identity theft

A deputy met with a resident in the 32000 block of Wellwood Road to investigate an identity theft involving a fraudulently obtained loan. Report No. 23-0804 was taken.

4:03 PM Property recovered

A deputy seized a wallet found in the lobby of the Union County Courthouse. The wallet was returned to its owner and no report was filed.

8:51 p.m. property crash

A deputy assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol on State Route 4 near U.S. Route 33 with a property crash that was determined to have occurred in Marion County.

11:22 PM Other agency assistance

Deputies assisted the Marysville Police Department with a fight involving multiple people on First Street in Marysville.
