The first complaint came from a passerby, who said a man standing outside his car asked her for help. When the woman approached, the woman said the man asked her to look inside the car to help him with something. Police said the incident occurred near the entrance to UVM Votey Arena on Colchester Street. The man was described as a man in his 30s. He was also described as being of medium build and standing between 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall. Witnesses also said there was a large stuffed animal inside the dark blue SUV, and the back of the vehicle had several bumper stickers. This incident occurred in the area of Boyle and South Willard Street. Police said the vehicle appeared to be a blue Toyota 4-Runner with a Blue Lives Matter sticker on the back. Investigators were unable to confirm that the incidents involved the same person despite their similarity, and are working to find out more information about them.
